categories recognizing achievement and excellence in amateur sport in
2006. Nominees in the Sport Manitoba Male and Female Youth of the Year and
Calm Air Junior Team of the Year categories will be honoured and the
winners announced at the 34th Annual Canadian Sport Awards at 7:00 p.m.
on Friday, March 23rd at the Investors Group Athletic Centre. The event
will be open to the public and will highlight a two-day
community-oriented sport festival that will enable the public to
interact with some of Canada's and Manitoba's top athletes on Saturday,
March 24th.
Nominees for the Great-West Life Volunteer of the Year, Great-West Life Youth Volunteer of the Year, Sport Manitoba Official of the Year and Sport Manitoba Sport Administrator of the Year will be honoured and the winners announced in conjunction with the CSA Awards at a luncheon on March 23rd.
Members of Manitoba's sport media will select the winners.
