MERCHANDISE / RESOURCE MATERIAL
Basketball Manitoba will issue a
full refund if the item is unworn or unused within 15 days of the purchase. A 10%
administrative fee will be retained on all refunds. Used items will not be eligible for return. Shipping costs of the unwanted item falls to the buyer. The initial shipping fee is not refundable.
PLAYER, COACH AND REFEREE CLINICS
Basketball
Manitoba will refund or credit fees collected for all High Performance Player Camps, National Coaching
Certification (NCCP) clinics, Super Coaches Clinics, Junior Officials Development Program (JODP) and
rural referee clinics if the person registered for the clinic gives 4 DAYS NOTICE (prior to the
start time of the event) on the cancellation.
A flat $25.00
administrative fee will be retained on all refunds. Those not providing 48 hours notice will not receive a refund of their fees. If the cancellation is
provided with less
than 48 hours, special consideration will be given for family based
emergency
situations that caused the issue.
TEAM REGISTRATION FEES
Basketball Manitoba will refund
fees collected towards Team Membership fees on a prorated basis. A flat $25.00
administrative fee will be retained on all refunds. There will be no refunds issued to teams or
clubs who have their membership status suspended or revoked for disciplinary reasons.
PROVINCIAL TEAM / CENTRE FOR
PERFORMANCE TRYOUT FEES
No refunds
will be given once the athlete attends the first session of the tryout unless an athlete is found to be attending the wrong ID camp or is found to be ineligible for the program.

PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
Basketball Manitoba will refund a portion of the fees collected based on
the following schedule if the athlete in question is injured and / or
sick and unable to continue for the duration of the program. A doctor’s note will be required indicating
that the athlete in question is unable to physically continue with the program. The amount refunded (if any) will be
determined by the Basketball Manitoba Board of Directors based on the time
involved in the program and on the situation / reason for early withdrawal. Any clothing or other personally used items
will also be factored into the amounts refunded. Families working an excess of bingos or other
fundraising initiatives managed by Basketball
MB and hold a credit towards
their account can either request it be refunded to them directly or applied to
a future Basketball Manitoba program.
PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (JUNIOR
HIGH INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT / SPRING PROVINCIALS)
Refunds
will not be given to teams that have participated in the tournament for any
reason including disciplinary reasons.
Teams preregistering for the tournament can request a refund PRIOR to the tournament schedule
being released. Once the tournament schedule
is released, no refunds will be given to teams paying any tournament fees or
deposits to Basketball Manitoba. A flat $25.00
administrative fee will be retained on all refunds. Special consideration will be given for
family based emergency situations that caused the issue.
NSF CHEQUES
Basketball Manitoba will charge a
flat rate of $25.00 per
cheque that is returned by our financial institution due to ‘insufficient funds’ or a 'stop payment'. The original amount of the item must be paid
in full plus the $25.00 fee to Basketball Manitoba
with cash, certified cheque, credit card, debit or money order immediately.
