Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce the High-Performance Camp from Monday, August 24 to Thursday, August 27, 2026, for boys and girls ages 9 to 15!


MiniBallers has announced details for its 2026 Move.Learn.Play Summer Camp program, offering two weeks of basketball-themed fun for children ages 3 to 12 in Winnipeg.

The camps are designed for young athletes who have caught the basketball bug and are looking for an active, positive and fun summer experience. MiniBallers will offer programming that helps children have fun, stay active, build confidence and make new friends through basketball and recreation-based activities.

The 2026 camp schedule includes:

Week 1

  • Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24, 2026
  • Glenwood Community Centre
  • 27 Overton Street

Week 2

  • Monday, August 31 to Friday, September 4, 2026
  • Linden Woods Community Centre
  • 414 Linden Woods Drive West

Families can choose from full-week or single-day options, with both full-day and half-day registration available.

Camp options include:

  • Full Day: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Half Day AM: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Half Day PM: 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Early drop-off at 8:00 a.m. and late pick-up until 5:00 p.m. are available at no additional charge.

The camps will feature basketball, recreation activities, outdoor play, water activities, and pizza and popsicle Fridays. MiniBallers notes that its programs have received more than 200 five-star reviews from families.

The Girls Got Game Basketball Camp is officially set to tip off this July, offering young female athletes a fun, competitive, and positive environment to grow their skills and confidence on the court.

The camp is focused on skill development, competitive play, confidence building, friendships, and creating lasting memories while helping athletes continue to develop their love for basketball.

The camp will be led by University of Manitoba Bisons women’s basketball player Taylor Schepp, a former Manitoba Provincial Team athlete, multiple-time provincial champion, and Canada West All-Rookie Team selection.

The camp will take place at St. Emile School and is open to girls ages 9–12 and 13–15.

Camp Schedule

Ages 9–12

  • July 6, 7, 9, 10 - 5:00–6:30 PM
  • July 8 - 4:00–5:30 PM

Ages 13–15

  • July 6, 7, 9, 10 - 6:30–8:00 PM
  • July 8 - 5:30–7:00 PM

The Winnipeg Sea Bears have announced details for the 2026 Sea Bears Summer Series, a youth basketball camp experience led by Sea Bears Head Coach and General Manager Mike Raimbault, alongside Sea Bears players and assistant coaches.

The camps will give young athletes the opportunity to learn from the pros they cheer for while developing basketball fundamentals, improving their skills, and building confidence in a positive and energetic environment.

The Sea Bears Summer Series is open to youth ages 5-13, with three age-specific sessions scheduled throughout the summer at Sport Manitoba, located at 145 Pacific Avenue in Winnipeg.

First Camp Session

  • Monday, June 22, 2026
  • Ages 5-7
  • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Sport Manitoba Courts,145 Pacific Ave, Winnipeg

Each session will focus on age-appropriate skill development, fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence-building, with instruction provided by Sea Bears coaches and players.

Campers are asked to bring running shoes, a water bottle, and a basketball if possible.

Each registered camper will receive a free Sea Bears Summer Series T-shirt and one ticket voucher to a Sea Bears home game during the 2026 season. Ticket voucher redemption terms and conditions are available through the Winnipeg Sea Bears.

A registration fee of $5.25 will apply. The fee has been introduced to help reduce no-shows and ensure spaces are reserved for participants who intend to attend, allowing organizers to plan effectively and provide the best experience possible for all campers.

Families are encouraged to plan their basketball summer early, as spaces are limited and are expected to fill quickly. Those interested can also sign up for the Sea Bears Insiders email list to receive early notice when registration opens.

The Reign Basketball Club has announced details for its Brandon Elite Summer Basketball Camp, set for Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Henry Champ Gym at Brandon University.

The camp is designed for Varsity and Junior Varsity age groups, providing athletes with a focused weekend opportunity to train, compete and grow in a high-performance basketball environment. The event will emphasize skill development, competitive play, and continued athlete growth under the Reign Basketball Club banner.

The Brandon camp reflects Reign’s continued expansion of basketball programming in Manitoba. Registration and additional camp details are available through the Reign Basketball Club store page.

Furious Fun Camps has announced details for its 2026 Summer Basketball Camp, set for Monday, August 24 to Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm each day at SJR School, located at 400 South Drive in Winnipeg.

The camp is open to students currently in Grades 4 to 9 and will focus on foundational basketball skills and strategies through an active, games-based approach. Participants will be placed into appropriate small-group sessions based on skill level, allowing players to develop in a setting that matches their current stage of learning.

The camp will be led by Ryan Kope, who brings more than 20 years of coaching experience across multiple levels of basketball. His coaching background includes work with the U18 Quest Basketball Club, U17 204 Elite Club, and SJR U13 Travel Team. He previously served as Head Coach of the Providence College Men’s Basketball Team and is a certified Physical Education specialist with First Aid and CPR, Level 1 NCCP, and Respect in Sport certification.

The registration fee is $195.

Metroball Winnipeg has announced details on the upcoming Thrillville United Skills and Conditioning Basketball Camp, taking place from Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Valour Community Centre - Isaac Brock Site, located at 715 Telfer Street North in Winnipeg.

The camp will be led by Coach Willie Miller and will provide skill development opportunities for beginner and advanced athletes, along with an adult skills workout and scrimmage session and a Thrillville United mini-tournament.

Training sessions will take place on Monday, June 22, Tuesday, June 23, and Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Beginner Session

  • 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
  • For participants looking to learn the basics of the sport.

Advanced Session

  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • For participants looking to develop basic to high-level basketball skills.

The full camp registration fee is $125 and includes three days of training, one day of the Thrillville United Tournament, and a Thrillville United training T-shirt.

Additional registration options are also available:

  • $45 - One training session only, with no tournament or shirt included
  • $80 - Two training sessions only, with no tournament or shirt included

An adult skills workout and scrimmage for participants ages 18 and up will also be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Spots are limited, and the registration fee is $30.

The Thrillville United Tournament will take place on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
