The winning team from Winnipeg will receive a free entry into the Edmonton Challenger with hotels and food covered (not travel). Grand prize at the Edmonton Challenger is $20,000 USD and $10,000 USD for 2nd place (3rd and 4th receive prize money of about $8,000 USD and $5,000 USD). Top two teams will also travel to Nanjing, China with airfare and accommodations covered to compete in an international 3x3 event.
All players must be registered and verified on the FIBA 3x3 website who play in the Winnipeg event. All teams in the Winnipeg tournament will be covered by Basketball Manitoba's insurance coverage.
