The University of Winnipeg's College Wesmen Men's basketball team is excited to head out into the community in 2014, to deliver a series of free basketball clinics to Winnipeg's Inner City Youth and Youth in Manitoba's northern communities. The clinics are designed to improve basketball & life skills and increase youth awareness of educational opportunities and programs offered by the U of W. Once again a planned trip up to Shamattawa to deliver a day clinic is currently in the works.
