Reid KenyonBasketball Manitoba is pleased to share the news that Winnipeg basketball referee and MABO member Reid Kenyon has been assigned to work a set of exhibition games involving Team USA and France between August 13-15 at the famed Madison Square Gardens in New York City.

The Team USA roster features Chauncey Billups, Kevin Durant and Lamar Odom among other NBA notables. The series of games is being used as a warm up to the FIBA World Basketball Championships in Turkey, August 28 to September 12.

Reid's last international assignment was last summer in Lithuania where he worked the 16U Cadet European World Qualifier. He is only one of eight referees in Canada who are eligible to officiate this level of play. Congratulations Reid!
