Members of the Manitoba 17U Provincial Team

The 17U Provincial Team kept their momentum of the last few weeks going by easily handling the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers 95-71 and capturing fifth place in the league. Joey Nitychoruck lead the 17U's with 17 points and 9 rebounds in just 16 minutes of playing time. Elliot Taylor chipped in 11 points for the winners. Moe Muhammed led the Blazers with 17 points and 9 rebounds. The 17U team is coming off of impressive performances in Minneapolis and Regina and seem to be peaking at the right time with the National Championships starting in 5 days. Good luck in the tournament.

Basketball Manitoba would like to thank every one that made this summer league possible. Good luck with your seasons and see you next summer!
