Basketball Manitoba in partnership with the University of Manitoba, is proud to be hosting the 2010 Canada Basketball Male National Championships this summer in Winnipeg. The 20 team event will run August 2-7 at the south Winnipeg campus. The event will feature the top 250 male basketball players ages 15-17 in Canada who will battle for the National Crown, including some members of the Canadian National Men's Cadet Team who captured the Bronze medal at last week's 17U Cadet World Championships in Germany. Tournament passes are only $30 which includes access to all 52 games all week and are available at the door. Event merchandise, videos and photography will be available on site along with a full concession.
Team Manitoba tips off the tournament with the 15U male team hosting Saskatchewan at 3:45 pm on Monday August 2 with the 17U Male team taking the court that evening at 8:15 pm vs Alberta. All games will occur at the University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Centre and parking is free all week.
