REMINDER AND NEW TIMES: Basketball Manitoba is excited to announce an opportunity for the public to come down to the new Canada Games Centre located at 145 Pacific Avenue in Winnipeg's Exchange District for Lunch Time Pick Up Basketball on Wednesdays and Fridays beginning immediately. The open gym will be made available from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm to fitness centre members of the Canada Games Centre.
The Centre has over 50 underground parking spots that can be accessed by members at an hourly rate.
The newly built Canada Games Centre was officially opened in June and hosted both basketball and volleyball at the Canada Games in August. The Centre features 14 square glass backboards on 3 full FIBA sized hardwood basketball courts. Membership or the drop in fee will also include access to the upper fitness centre area and running track.
Over time and as demand increases, additional open gym days and times may be added to the week. A basketball equipment sign out system will also be coming in the near future, so its suggested to BYOB for now!

Parking
During the day, street parking is metered and costs $2.50 per hour. After 5:30 pm, there is FREE unlimited street parking available in the building area. There are other area paid surface lots in the area which are managed by Impark. See a live area parking map here. The parkade rates are as follows:
- Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 6:00pm $2/hr; 6:00pm - 12:00am $2/hr
- Saturday & Sunday: 6:00am - 12:00am $2/hr
