    17U Female Provincial Team Program



    VIEW TRAVEL ITINERARIES: The 17U Female Provincial Team Program will begin with open tryouts on May 27-29, 2016 at the University of Winnipeg. A total of 12 athletes at the 17U age level will be chosen for the team and will continue training through July.  The team will be attending a number of warm-up tournaments in July heading into the Canada Basketball National Championships July 25-30, 2016 at the University of Regina Campus in Regina, SK.


    ELIGIBILITY
    • Females born in 1999 or later residing in the province of Manitoba on or before February 1, 2016

        • Items to Bring
          • PASSPORT AND/OR OTHER CITIZENSHIP DOCUMENTATION.  Players will not be permitted on the bus without showing it to their head coach - READ SPECIAL NOTES ON US TRAVEL
          • Meal money for all meals (breakfast is provided in the Iowa hotel but NOT in the Chicago hotel).  Suggested amount: $300 US for 8+ days
          • US Spending money for the entire week
          • Snacks for the bus (no fruit, vegetables or meats as they may be confiscated at the border) 
          • Basketball shoes, jersey/uniforms
          • All Basketball Manitoba Gear received this year (practice top, shorts, hoodie, sweat pants, long sleeve T, T-shirts, backpack) 
          • Pillow, blanket (for bus trip)
          • Water bottle
          • Clothes for 8+ days
          • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, brush, deodorant, etc), any medications (if applicable)
        • Travel Days: July 5 & 13 (return to MB after last day, next day arrival early AM)
