Winnipeg's Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson has been named as one of 12 athletes which have been selected to represent Canada at the 8-day FISU Games tournament in Gwangju, South Korea.

The Development Men’s National Team is comprised of student-athletes and will be led by Head Coach Barnaby Craddock (University of Alberta, former Brandon University), as well as Assistants John Campbell (University of Toronto) and Shawn Swords (Laurentian University).

“This tournament is a great opportunity for our CIS athletes to gain international experience and compete with top talent from around the world,” said Craddock.

The 12 players are Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) athletes from across the country. The Development Men’s National Team will hold their training camp at the University of Kansas from June 19-29 before departing for South Korea. While in Kansas, Team Canada will scrimmage against the Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team.
