    THIS WEEKEND: NCCP Clinics in Manitoba Coming April & May

    THIS WEEKEND: Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce it will be hosting another offering of the NCCP 'Learn to Train', 'Train to Train' and 'Train to Compete' courses on April 17-19 and May 1-3 in Winnipeg.  These new offerings replace the old NCCP Level 1 & 2 Technical and Theory courses and are for coaches working with athletes from 10-18 years of age.  These levels are also required for all coaches who are interested in coaching in their respective future Provincial Team, Manitoba Games and other levels.  The courses will comprise both classroom and on court sessions and will focus on Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) review, mental training, practice planning, competition planning, fundamental movement skills, technical movement skills, offensive and defensive concepts, practical application, and a debrief evaluation.  Register for the clinics below...

    • Friday May 1, 2015
    • 6:00 - 10:00 pm at St. Paul's High School (2200 Grant Ave.)
    • Saturday May 2, 2015 
    • 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at St. Paul's High School (bring lunch)
    • Sunday May 3, 2015
    • 9:00 am - 12:00 pm  at St. Paul's High School

      Registration Fee: $200.00


      Registration Deadline:  Wednesday April 29, 2015

        • Saturday April 18, 2015
        • 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sport for Life Centre - 145 Pacific Ave (bring lunch)
        • 1:00pm to 5:00pm St. Paul's High School Cass Gym (old gym - 2200 Grant Ave.)
        • Sunday April 19, 2015
        • 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sport for Life Centre - 145 Pacific Ave (bring lunch)
        • 1:00pm to 3:00pm at a gym TBA
