    WMBA Announces Details on Girls Can Play, Fun, Fitness and Basketball Program for Ages 7-10

    Athlete Initiative and the Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association (WMBA) has partnered up to deliver a new FREE program called “Girls Can Play” This program is targeted for girls from ages 7-10 years of age and is goal is to promote physical activity for females through fun, fitness and basketball participation.  The program will be offering a 8 week program 1 time per week starting October 27th to any girls who are new to the game of basketball or have played before and just want to come out and have fun. This program is FREE!




    • Monday's 6:00pm 7:30pm Voyageur School (Kirkfield Westwood CC catchment) 
    • Tuesday's 6:00pm - 7:30pm Earl Grey School (Earl Grey CC catchment) 
    • Wednesdays' 6:00pm - 7:30pm Tyndall Park School (Tyndall Park CC catchment)
    • Thursday's 6:00pm - 7:30pm Norquay Community Centre (Norquay CC catchment)
