The Winnipeg Fury basketball club is pleased to announce it will be hosting several new age categories for this coming season . We are looking for male athletes grade 5- 11 and female athletes grade 5- 9.
We will be hosting our first round of tryouts this weekend at Winakwa Community Centre and the cost is $20 per player. Athletes are asked to bring a ball to all tryout sessions and to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to register .
These teams will enter tournaments in Canada and the United States and may enter the RSL or PBA league.

Saturday September 6 at Norberry Glenlee Community Centre
- 10am-noon boys grade- 10&11 (1998/99)
- Noon- 2pm boys grade- 8&9 (2000/2001)
- 2pm-4pm boys grade 5&6 (2003/2004)
Sunday September 7 at Winakwa Community Centre
- 6:30- 8:30pm girls grade 7&8 (2001/2002)
Please bring your own basketball.
Tryout fee is $20/player to cover the cost of the gym.
All players selected to the Fury program will be required to attend a registration session on September 7 for a program information package and uniform fitting.
