Winnipeg's Got Sole Sneaker Swap Donates 100+ Shoes to Basketball Equipment Recycling Program

Basketball Manitoba would like to thank Winnipeg's Got Sole and their recent Sneaker Swap event in June for collecting and donating over 100 pair of used (and some new) basketball shoes to the Basketball Manitoba Equipment Recycling Program!  The event attracted hundred's of people to Bronx Park Community Centre in east Winnipeg to meet and share their passion for athletic footwear.  Winnipeg's Got Sole is a local non-profit charity that connects all sneaker connoisseurs in Winnipeg, Manitoba through events and initiatives.

The Basketball Manitoba Equipment Recycling Program has now collected and distributed over 1500 used basketballs and basketball shoes to children around Manitoba since it began in January 2012.

THANKS TO FRENDELL & JERRY FOR ALL YOU DO WITH THE GROUP!
